The heart behind Northern Hideaways.

Cassandra Ferguson is the name and the face of Northern Hideaways, a local business built around helping people enjoy Northern Michigan the right way. As a lifelong Manistee resident, she grew up around the lakes, forests, beaches, and small town neighborhoods that make this part of the state special. That local connection shapes how she manages each home and how she works with guests and owners alike.

Cassandra is a licensed Michigan real estate agent with a degree in Paralegal Studies. Beyond vacation rentals, she helps people with buying, selling, leasing, and property management, so whatever your housing needs look like, she can point you in the right direction.

She is a landlord herself, so she understands a home from both sides of the table, the owner's and the guest's. Her approach is practical and hands on: clear communication, clean and comfortable homes, responsive maintenance, and a stay that feels easy from the first message to checkout.

Fun fact, before she moved into real estate Cassandra spent eighteen years as a registered dental assistant. Two very different careers, one shared goal: making the whole experience a pain free process.
